Its Autumn…

Early in the morning when I woke up …looked out of the window form the kitchen…
I see a sheet of floating snow flakes gently swirling in the air and falling on the window sill…

The whole backyard covered with drifting snow and the garden plants peeping here and there from the snow capped leaves

Rosebuds bending with the weight of the light snow flakes and dripping with the melting snow

The terrace garden swaying with the wind and the floating snow giving it an animation of twirling in the snow and playing with it

The bend of road leading to the bridge covered with snow troubling the passers by…the castle atop the hill standing strong and high.

My heart fluttered like a butterfly to just go out and play in the snow..but the cold kept me away

But it brought a smile to my lips and made my day:-)

Hoping and wishing that the smile lasts forever:-)....

I had similar experience, when I saw the snowfall for the first time. I saw my first snow fall on my first trip to land of dreams. It was in colorado springs, colorado. It was winter and I was told it would be cold, but never expected the coldness of the cold, it was too freezing cold, temperature was -10degress. On the way from airport to appartment, it was snowing lightly and snow all the road. I did not speak, it was awed and dumbstuck with beauty of snow, good created and the 6 lane clean neat highway, man made merging into to give a wonder picture.

Life is such a wonderful teacher that teaches us a whole variety of lessons although with a complete mix of emotions. On a Rainy day, the morning seems so grey With rain drops playing a new tune as they spray Making the birds sing a new song that makes me sway Enjoying the music to start a new day On a Rainy day, as I walk along the shaded way With a canopy of trees sheltering the wild flowers as they play Amidst the cool breeze, I see the reflection of the scene above in full display Making me feel like I’m walking among the clouds far far away On a Rainy day, as I sip my coffee watching nature’s play Cleaning the lush green leaves and spraying the flowers so bright To bring out the True Colors within making me feel so light Reminding me to enjoy every moment Life brings in Like a little bird’s First flight. -        Nirmala B.J

Its my pleasure to share my experience of visiting the city of Paris. I had been to Paris during the Christmas vacation. It was a most awaited trip filled with all enthusiasm and interest. I took a train from Baden, Switzerland to Basel. I had to travel via a TGV which was also a first time for me. With some initial hiccups and a journey of almost 5 hours I reached Gare’ De Est station in Paris. I was received by my friend who was to join me in my trip. After having a small dose of coffee we took the network of sub way trains to reach our destination Gare’ De Lyon wherein I had booked the accommodation in Hotel Lyon Bastille.
