Simple Wishes…

Just like the smile of a baby which is so beautiful and true
Just like the flight of the sea gull along the coast which is so serene
Just like the fleet of clouds passing across the cascades casting shadows
I wish for moments that just makes you smile for no reason

Just like the bouquet of raindrops clinging on to the bushes
Just like the blanket of dew covering the grass in the morning sunshine
Just like the misty stretch covering the path ahead
I wish to be covered with the joy of living in the Present

Just like the new leaves unfurling from their slumber
Just like the snowdrops in their first bloom breaking the cold winter
Just like the elegant daffodils lifting their heads to the gentle spring air
I wish to look forward to new beginnings filled with hope and joy.

This is my FIRST Blog and i never thought i would start with such a topic. But i think its worth a read..so sit back and Enjoy:-)... Life is such a wonderful teacher that teaches us a whole variety of lessons although with a complete mix of emotions. No matter how hard we try there is always a perfect timing where all things fall in place just like the various pieces of a puzzle. Today there was a simple but mysterious experience which I came across. It so happened that I had to make a few payments that was important and to be closed at the earliest. Normally I manage my finance by allocating them appropriately before hand along with some additional reserve.But today I had exactly the amount that was required for the payment and no additional reserve. On a Rainy day, the morning seems so grey With rain drops playing a new tune as they spray Making the birds sing a new song that makes me sway Enjoying the music to start a new day On a Rainy day, as I walk along the shaded way With a canopy of trees sheltering the wild flowers as they play Amidst the cool breeze, I see the reflection of the scene above in full display Making me feel like I’m walking among the clouds far far away On a Rainy day, as I sip my coffee watching nature’s play Cleaning the lush green leaves and spraying the flowers so bright To bring out the True Colors within making me feel so light Reminding me to enjoy every moment Life brings in Like a little bird’s First flight. -        Nirmala B.J

PARIS…Part One A place of beauty, architectural marvels, fantastic cuisines, unique pieces of art, choicest place of many great artists is in short the place PARIS . Its my pleasure to share my experience of visiting the city of Paris. I had been to Paris during the Christmas vacation. It was a most awaited trip filled with all enthusiasm and interest. I took a train from Baden, Switzerland to Basel. I had to travel via a TGV which was also a first time for me. With some initial hiccups and a journey of almost 5 hours I reached Gare’ De Est station in Paris. I was received by my friend who was to join me in my trip. After having a small dose of coffee we took the network of sub way trains to reach our destination Gare’ De Lyon wherein I had booked the accommodation in Hotel Lyon Bastille. It was my second stinct with the subway metros and tube stations after the one in London. It brought many pleasant memories of my visit to London some time ago.
