Happy Women’s day😊!!!


Along the seashore, as the gentle waves gush forth
To meet the shore playfully spraying frothy foam
Despite the rocky cliffs and boulders
Lies the stretch of softest sand amidst the chaos
Binding together all elements glowing enchantingly in the evening sun

Into the Woods, as the gentle breeze and drizzle dance along
Stands still the strong and tall pine tree with thick lush green foliage
Making home for the chirping flock of birds singing a happy song
Looking far and wide beyond swaying cheerfully yet firm
Glistening amidst the bridge of rainbows formed across

A Flock of wild geese flying so gracefully in the morning sky
In patterns so variant and beautiful in spite of the cold winds
Determined to reach destinations far beyond without looking back
To reach heights beyond imagination as a team
Cheering each other with hope and encouragement

Softness and bonding of beach sand,
Strength, firmness and patience of the pine tree,
Determination, Lead and looking forward with new hope,
With Beauty in all ways, elegance, grace and smart
Just be who you are, the way you are and all that you can be!!

Life is such a wonderful teacher that teaches us a whole variety of lessons although with a complete mix of emotions. On a Rainy day, the morning seems so grey With rain drops playing a new tune as they spray Making the birds sing a new song that makes me sway Enjoying the music to start a new day On a Rainy day, as I walk along the shaded way With a canopy of trees sheltering the wild flowers as they play Amidst the cool breeze, I see the reflection of the scene above in full display Making me feel like I’m walking among the clouds far far away On a Rainy day, as I sip my coffee watching nature’s play Cleaning the lush green leaves and spraying the flowers so bright To bring out the True Colors within making me feel so light Reminding me to enjoy every moment Life brings in Like a little bird’s First flight. -        Nirmala B.J

Its my pleasure to share my experience of visiting the city of Paris. I had been to Paris during the Christmas vacation. It was a most awaited trip filled with all enthusiasm and interest. I took a train from Baden, Switzerland to Basel. I had to travel via a TGV which was also a first time for me. With some initial hiccups and a journey of almost 5 hours I reached Gare’ De Est station in Paris. I was received by my friend who was to join me in my trip. After having a small dose of coffee we took the network of sub way trains to reach our destination Gare’ De Lyon wherein I had booked the accommodation in Hotel Lyon Bastille. It was my second stinct with the subway metros and tube stations after the one in London. It brought many pleasant memories of my visit to London some time ago.
