Hidden Shadows

As I see a fledgling bird learning to take its flight

Perched on a branch swaying in gently breeze

Trying to explore its neighborhood of delicate twigs

Scared it might slip, yet taking the leap with courage

Knowing that there is someone to hold on tight if it falls

 

As I take my walk under the grey clouds in evening breeze

Laden heavy with rain that is about to fall

I see a flock of pigeons in shades so varied flying

Forming various patterns enjoying the amazing weather

And the freedom with no fear of blowing away

 

As I sip my evening tea watching the rain

Enjoying the melody of the birds song flying back home

So calming like the waterfront with the mountains in the backdrop

With the glistening lake in the warm sunshine

Lightens up the mood so calm and refreshing

 

Strong and firm like the mountain

Calm and relaxing like the lake

Being there when you need

Freedom to be your real self

Who else can it be..but for my Friends forever and everJ.

This is my FIRST Blog and i never thought i would start with such a topic. But i think its worth a read..so sit back and Enjoy:-)... Life is such a wonderful teacher that teaches us a whole variety of lessons although with a complete mix of emotions. Its Autumn...

Its Autumn… Early in the morning when I woke up …looked out of the window form the kitchen… I see a sheet of floating snow flakes gently swirling in the air and falling on the window sill… The whole backyard covered with drifting snow and the garden plants peeping here and there from the snow capped leaves Rosebuds bending with the weight of the light snow flakes and dripping with the melting snow The terrace garden swaying with the wind and the floating snow giving it an animation of twirling in the snow and playing with it The bend of road leading to the bridge covered with snow troubling the passers by…the castle atop the hill standing strong and high. My heart fluttered like a butterfly to just go out and play in the snow..but the cold kept me away But it brought a smile to my lips and made my day:-) Hoping and wishing that the smile lasts forever:-)....

Changing Seasons...

Its been quite some time since I wrote something. The past few weeks have been quite an interesting experience.Some sweet, bitter experiences which makes life more admirable…atleast in my opinion. There were some new places, new friends, new events but still the same old me in all these different frames:-). The new year started with shower of snow making the environment quite cold but at the same time beautiful, some new acquaintances, pleasant surprises. I was feeling completely at home to be back in Switzerland…just like the phrase “HOME AWAY FROM HOME”. I had the opportunity to visit Paris/PARI as the French call it during christmas. It’s a beautiful city with its own uniqueness. However I enjoyed only a few of those locales, but really worth the visit. Just as the weather was playing see-saw b/w cold and bright sunshine in the days to come, I came across some interesting situations.
