Glimpses of life

                                Its been awhile since I got back to my blogging. Thanks to few of my friends who were checking if I wrote anything new and were interested to read😀 . What do you perceive when you see the rain drops just falling from the sky.. What do you perceive when you see a string of raindrops clinging on to the clothesline.. Arranged like peas in a peapod close to each other side by side in an orderly manner Glistening in the sunlight once the rain stops like a string of pearls.. Reflecting the surroundings and sometimes even shimmer with the rainbow colors Like a bouquet of flowers on every droplet..🌷 I just happened to see this beautiful raindrops early in the morning after an overnight spell of showers…this made me think that its just like the  String of life’s events strung together..     As I see a fledgling bird learning to take its flight Perched on a branch swaying in gently breeze Trying to explore its neighborhood of delicate twigs Scared it might slip, yet taking the leap with courage Knowing that there is someone to hold on tight if it falls   As I take my walk under the grey clouds in evening breeze Laden heavy with rain that is about to fall I see a flock of pigeons in shades so varied flying Forming various patterns enjoying the amazing weather And the freedom with no fear of blowing away   As I sip my evening tea watching the rain Enjoying the melody of the birds song flying back home So calming like the waterfront with the mountains in the backdrop With the glistening lake in the warm sunshine Lightens up the mood so calm and refreshing   Strong and firm like the mountain Calm and relaxing like the lake Being there when you need Freedom to be your real self Who else can it be..but for my Friends forever a

                              Who could ever think that a toast could inspire to write a blog 😊 . It just happened to me 😆 . You can try for yourself.  On a rainy day, as the pitter patter of raindrops provides the background score  and a cool breeze providing the special effects, try to have a bite of a toast with slices of ripe mango..its just heaven 😇 .              Today it just lightened up my senses on an otherwise boring evening😎. In the midst of the COVID19 weather (lockdown, work from home, social distancing etc J ), I happened to come across some small yet interesting moments which kinda make me a bit thoughtful. As I take my evening breaks after the day’s work, I get to see the most amazing sunsets right from our terrace. I can see that all the kids are getting back to traditional ways of spending time and playing, which is quite a positive change. In my neighborhood, there are lot of kites flying high in the evening breeze . At times the winds are stronger as the monsoon is about to set in. It is indeed quite a view and mind can relax forgetting the stress.                         Imagine a forest surrounded by dark clouds and fog with the forest floor covered with moss and debris and lot of chaos all over. All of a sudden the dark clouds are cleared away revealing the azure sky with fluffy snow white clouds. The rays of sunlight lighting up the forest revealing the brilliant colors and amazing flora and fauna with an amazing background of light and shadows. All the chaos cleared and the forest being very still and calm bring lot of peace to the mind and soul.                         That’s exactly how it feels today. There was a public curfew called for in the nation to support non- spreading of Corona virus as well as appreciating the members who are still working outside for the nation and supporting the public in need.
